Introduction to studying at the Coptic Language Institute

The Coptic Language Institute offers a free, comprehensive curriculum for teaching the Coptic language from beginners to the Bachelor degree.

The study at the institute is divided into four levels

1-	Kami (Egypt)	A curriculum for beginners including 40 lessons with vocabulary words and simple sentences, greetings, hymns for certain occasions, reading lessons, and memorization of some prayers.
2-	Caji (Speak)	Expanded conversation for various daily events, hymns, praises, prayers, reading and studying the Coptic language, and the Compline Prayer from the Agpia.
3-	Smou Banoudi (Praise God)	Includes expanded language lessons, vocabulary, grammar, new hymns, writing comprehension and dictation, and reading morning and bedtime prayers from the Agpia in Coptic.
4-	Saji Emmani (Bachelor)	Covers study of the Bible, church history, rituals, and life of Saint Anba Shenouda the Archimandrite, along with hymns for various occasions and examinations.
